Of the argument
Not only because my views
Are irrelevant
But because I must have
Misunderstood
Or been
Misunderstood
Or thought there was no argument
When there was one
Or thought there was an argument
When there was none.
Anyway, it’s inconsequential.

Sidelined.
Like an injured player.
Out of action,
Out of play.
The game’s
No longer played
The way I played it.
The rules may have changed,
Or they’ve got different names.
Whatever the case, I’m done.

Did I begin In humility?
Yet I end In humility.
Humility?
Or humiliation?
It’s anyway inconsequential.
