We Collide in Space

We orbit each other
Like bodies in space,
Guided by the solemn laws of physics.

We collide!
We bond together, spin together,
Inside this black hole, this vacuum,
This vortex of electromagnetic
Energy.

I am sucked inside you,
You in me,
As we hurdle through time and space.
Through outer space,
Through inner space,
In and out of innumerable dimensions,
And eternities of time.

Pressing in upon you,
You press back,
Sometimes gently,
Sometimes hard:
I combine with you.
We combine!

One body,
Held together
By gravitational forces
Too strong for anything or anyone
To escape.
